2020 was an unprecedented year.
As the world went into lockdown, friends and family lost their jobs, and businesses were forced to shut their doors, my husband and I began to think about how we could possibly make a positive impact during such a challenging time.
We turned our immediate focus to our local community, investing in two local gyms that were under threat of being forced to permanently close their doors. While our initial goal was to continue to provide the community with a mental, physical, and emotional outlet, it soon evolved into a much bigger vision.
Now local business owners, we were privy to hearing the struggles of our peers, and their concerns for not only the future of their business, but also their employees, and their families.
One of the topics that kept coming up in conversation was the astronomical cost of print and marketing. This was particularly impactful when certain businesses were now forced to print weekly.
So began our journey to figure out not only how we could lower print costs, but also maximize marketing budgets for not only ourselves, but other businesses as well.
Since then, my husband and I have invested in owning our own vertical integration, all the way from products to print, resulting in the creation of Master Print Shop.
